Winespread Panic is a blog site devoted  to all happenings of my daily life revolving around the world of wine.  Mostly it will consist of tasting, education and traveling.  

It will have wine reviews, most of which will be positive.  I see no purpose in posting a negative opinion of a wine and sabotaging someone who is merely trying to make a living.  It will have a fair share of educational posts as that is what I mostly do currently as a Wine Educator.  There will be posts regarding wine related topics that currently affect the industry.  It will certainly be opinionated, as I have many and it absolutely will contain bias.  I've developed numerous relationships with wine folk over the years that have resulted in wonderful friendships that I treasure.  They mean the world to me. I enjoy promoting those that have influenced my life and have been such an integral contributor to my success.

I realize the last thing the world needs is another wine blog.  I'm only doing this for because I enjoy it.  I'm so grateful to have a career that I love and get great satisfaction sharing my experiences with others.

Hopefully you will enjoy the content. I'm no English major and by no means a professional writer.  I'm a stream of consciousness writer at best.  I will do my best to convey my experiences in an interesting and entertaining fashion without taking myself too seriously.  If and when that happens, and it will; I hope you all will keep me in check.  Any feedback is appreciated.  Don't hold back with any criticism.  I'm a big boy and can take it.

25 years ago I was a ski bum and a bartender who stumbled into a Holiday Trade Tasting and realized there were people making a living selling wine.  I immediately got the bug and my life changed forever.  

I've worked in Distribution as a Fine Wine Specialist for 12 years and have been the Sommelier/Wine Director at a premier eatery for the last 15 years.

I've earned certifications as a Certified Sommelier from the Master Court of Sommeliers and Certified Wine Specialist from the Society of Wine Educators.  So I'm Certifiable i guess
